Alex Sandro Silva Pereira (born July 7, 1987) is a Brazilian professional mixed martial artist and former kickboxing champion. Competing in the Light Heavyweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), he has held both the UFC Light Heavyweight and Middleweight titles. As of November 19, 2024, Pereira ranks #3 in the UFC men's pound-for-pound rankings.


A Historic Champion in Two Divisions

Pereira has cemented his legacy as one of the most dominant fighters in combat sports history. He is the ninth fighter in UFC history to win titles in two different weight classes and the first to achieve this feat in both the middleweight and light heavyweight divisions.


Before his transition to MMA, Pereira had an illustrious kickboxing career, claiming both the Glory Middleweight and Light Heavyweight Championships. He remains the only fighter to have simultaneously held titles in two weight classes in Glory Kickboxing.
